EMS

The EMS Division is the newest addition to the Hudson Fire Protection District. The division is responsible for all aspects of EMS including pre-hospital response and transport for calls within and outside the district, providing basic and advanced life support training to department members, certification tracking and management as well as inventory management of disposable and non-disposable supplies.

Additionally, the division has a comprehensive quality assurance program to ensure excellent patient care and also fulfills state and national requirements. We have both EMT and Paramedic certified team members, which provides efficient management of any call type. The division is led by an EMS Division Chief and Board-Certified Emergency Physician who acts as our physician advisor. Our Physician Advisor provides ongoing training, protocol development and is heavily involved in the quality assurance program. The EMS Division works closely with Operations to provide integrated responses to any call type including medical, fire, hazardous materials, and technical rescue.
